Black Milk Clothing Game of Thrones Girlfriend Tee Review

CJ'S FASHION FAVOURITES

Hi guys and girls I am here to tell you all about an Australian label called Black Milk Clothing. Black Milk was created by Australian father of two James Lillis, I came upon this label last year while scrolling through my Facebook news feed. My favourite thing about Black Milk is that they have licensed collections from Star Wars to Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. Now I absolutely LOVE everything Game of Thrones, so seeing that there was a range done by Black Milk made me really happy. This leads me to the point of this post, I recently made a few purchases from Black Milk's Game of Thrones and I would like to tell you all about my experience and what I thought of the items I brought.

Team Targaryen & Team Stark GFT(Girlfriend Tee)

My main allegiance in Game of Thrones is to House Targaryen which was one reason why I plan to try and buy all related pieces! These pieces caught my eye, not only because they were Game of Thrones themed, but because of the print and colouring. They reminded me of volcanoes and fire and all things hot, as well as mountains and snow and all things cold. My second allegiance is to House Stark. This design is the complete opposite of the Targaryen tee. Whilst the Targaryen's are all heat and fire, the Stark's are cold and ice.

As you can see from the back view this style of tee is quite long which makes it perfect for pairing with leggings. The tees are made from 100%  Polyester, when you first get them they feel kind of like a new polyester quilt cover does when you first get it. Like all Black Milk the washing instructions are hand wash only, which in my opinion is a little bit of a pain, I am sure alot of people agree with me on that!

There are two style cuts in this print, the GFT(girlfriend tee) and the BFT(boyfriend tee). The style I chose was the GFT because it is more fitted and a more feminine cut than the BFT which is looser and can be worn by guys as well as girls. The sizing of the tees goes from an XXS to an XL, what sizing you get all depends on your measurements and how broad your shoulders are. I am normally a size 10 in tops and I got a size L because I have broadish shoulders.

I absolutely love both of these designs, the colouring, the logo's, the fact that they are great pieces to add to my ever growing Game of Thrones collection. They are so comfortable to wear. The one thing I have heard that many people dislike about the cuts is that they don't really have any shape and don't suit some people. They are a little loose on the bottom, but I don't think that it is anything major. Another gripe that people have had is that they don't think they are worth the $60 price tag. I am kind of on the fence about that, I do think that they could be a little better in terms of quality. But for what they are I love them. There are a few more tees of this cut in the Game of Thrones collection that I plan to purchase sometime soon.

Shopping on the Black Milk site is so easy, once you have created an account and entered all your details, your items are only a few clicks away. You can pay by credit card or by Paypal. Once you have completed your purchase you are sent an email with all the important details, such as, what you ordered and how many, the total cost, the address it's going to and most importantly your order number. I have found the staff at Black Milk to respond very quickly to any emails you send and they are constantly working their hardest to be the best they can be for their customers.

My overall rating of Black Milk Clothing and the items I purchased are:
5 Stars: Customer Service
5 Stars: Easy to use website.
4 Stars: Quality and pricing.
5 Stars: Overall Shopping Experience

WHAT CJ'S SAYING TODAY

Hi guys and gals this is my first ever blog post, so I might tell you all a little about myself and why I decided to start up a blog :)

Firstly I come from a beautiful little Island way down in Southern Australia called Tasmania. It is the perfect place to grow up. I grew up in a country town with beautiful national parks, rivers and mountains. Being one of 6 children individuality is kind of important to me. One way to do that is through fashion and not hiding your true self. Over the years I have gone from having absolutely no interest or taste in fashion to absolutely LOVING it and not caring what others think about how I dress!

My true self loves fashion, history, reading, writing, animals, charities, art, fitness, self improvement, reading and writing reviews. So to be true to myself I have decided to blog about all things that interest and are important to me. If you have any request on things that you would like me to review, then please don't hesitate on letting me know.
